Giving is a privilege of the royal priesthood of every believer and should be motivated by the believer's gratitude as a result of his own spiritual growth.
"Let each one give just as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver." ( 2 Cor. 9:7 )
